Our Program

"Li'l Angels Home Daycare" is not a preschool, but we participate in a full range of activities such as free play, stories, dramatic play, creative art, crafts, music, outside play, field trips and much more, as well as relationship building. These are all things we hope will prepare children as they enter into pre-school

Our Goal

It is our goal to have a variety of toys readily accessible for the children. Tactile and sensory projects are also apart of our basic program. Another important aspect to our day is the variety of experiences a child in our care has. These experiences range from looking for bugs, to watching birds in the backyard, to helping make snacks. It is also our goal to prepare them for pre-k and kindergarten in the following ways:
Fostering a love for books by reading to them daily, and encouraging them to "read" to themselves and each other.
(Reading for an infant or toddler means, looking at pictures and remembering the story as it was read to them).
Encouraging independence.
Properly disciplining, and setting limits for the child. This enables them to listen well, follow directions, and cooperate in a group.
Provide a variety of daily experiences for them to draw on when learning in a classroom and at home.
Frequently provide free art to foster creativity.
We have learned from experience that infants and toddlers require more flexible schedules. Our daily schedule changes with the children’s needs. However, there are a few things that remain constant so that the children can develop a routine.<
